MIND4MACHINES is a Horizon 2020 INNOSUP Project conducted with 11 partners from 8 countries, covering North and South, East and West of Europe, under the coordination of Istanbul Chamber of Industry from Turkey.
Project aims to facilitate the cross-sectoral and cross-border support needed by manufacturing SMEs to test and adopt the latest digital technologies for transformation towards smarter, greener, and more resource-efficient manufacturing, aligned with the latest EU policies.
In our Open Calls, we targeted digitalisation of the manufacturing industry. Therefore, we funded development, testing, validation, and market uptake of Industry 4.0 solutions of technology provider SMEs and startups. We received proposals that included the collaboration of technology provider SMEs and industry partners for project applications. The industry partners act as end-users of the proposed solutions.
The Call for proposals was addressed to the European SMEs and start-ups that plan to develop innovative solutions addresing different kind of challenges that could be part of cross-sectoral and cross-border value chains with two different funding lines.
M4M consortium has evaluated the 345 proposals received and select the best projects to be funded with grants between €30K – €120K for 42 projects with a total funding for SMEs of €3.240.625
The Call included two financing schemes targeting different Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs):
- I. Innovation Support – Testing and validating Industry 4.0 solutions [TRL 4-7]
- II. Go-to-Market Support – Demonstrating and scaling innovative solutions [TRL 8-9]
